New Day Cleveland Appearance!
When I got an email from the Executive Producer of New Day Cleveland asking if I wanted to come on the show to talk about my Senior photography business, I jumped at the chance! Um yes please! So many things to prepare, and most importantly what will I wear?
The day of the show quickly came and I was excited and nervous! My nerves were calmed after meeting the producer and host Nicole Marcellino, and we quickly realized we had a lot in common! We are both Boy Moms x3! It was so cool being back stage and seeing how the show works and how the whole cast has to be on their toes because things move FAST!
And then it was lights, camera, action and I was on! Nicole was so easy to talk to and it was just like talking to a friend. First we talked about how senior pictures have changed since we were in high school. There are so many options now and you can really personalize your photos to show off your interests, whether it be sports or musical interests that really make your photos uniquely YOU! We talked about when to schedule your Senior photos. The summer before your Senior year or the fall of your Senior year are the most popular times. I said if you have a Class of 2025 Senior, now is the time to reach out and get on my calendar. Don’t wait because my summer calendar is open now with limited availability.
Then Nicole talked about the awards I have recently won and publications I am in:

- Winner of Best of 2023 Images in Senior Year Magazine
- Published in Senior SZN Magazine Best of 2023
We also talked about what to wear? I said that all of my sessions come with a minimum of 2 outfits so you can combine your special interest with a dressy or casual outfit. I like to tell my Seniors, don’t be afraid to go big or bold and break out the Homecoming suit or Prom dress you may have sitting in the closet. You already spent the money on it, why not get another use out of it? Guys look amazing in suits and girls in long dress make for some stunning and dramatic images.
Next we talked about how to pick a location. I said that I send a custom questionnaire after you book a session so I can get to know you and find out what your vision is. I have favorite locations depending on what vibe you are going for, whether it’s a beach, golden meadow, flower field or urban location I have you covered!
Finally I told Nicole that the best tip I have for my clients is to have fun and relax. I will guide you the entire time with what to do, posing and directing you to look and feel your most confident. So there’s nothing you need to prepare or do.
