The Top TEN of 2020

2020, a year we are all excited to put behind us. But even with the many challenges there was still much good to be found. As I reflected on this year and looked back at all the sessions, I was honored to be a small part of so many families’ lives. Being able to help tell your story and document your lives is truly humbling. Choosing my favorites was easier said than done, there were so many sessions and I truly have favorites from every one of them! At the beginning of this pandemic I had no idea what this year would look like for my business, or anything else for that matter, so I am very thankful to have my biggest and best year ever thanks to all of you who supported my small business! I am truly grateful!

Here are my top 10 photos/sessions from 2020 (in no particular order):

Front Porch Sessions

Right after lockdown ended I offered front porch sessions and collected donations for the Emergency Assistance Center and raised almost $600! It was an awesome way to get back out shooting and so great to see people again!

Kelsey & Eric’s Winter Wonderland Engagement Session

The couple wanted snow for their session and we did not get much of the white stuff last winter in CLE, but finally got some snow in February! And it was worth the wait. The location was dreamy with the tall pine forest and blanket of snow that covered the ground and pines. It was easy to capture their love and they were so fun to shoot!

DeCaro Family Golden Hour Session

Everything about this session was perfect, the golden light, the gorgeous creek and field location and the beautiful family! This is one of my favorite places to shoot!

Nicole’s Senior Session

I absolutely love shooting seniors and was so lucky to have so many beautiful seniors this year!  We had a blast at this session and I love the variety of shots we got at the creek, field and bridge!

Pituch Family Park Golden Hour Session

These girls were so adorable and just wanted to play, so play is what we did! I got some sweet family shots at the beginning of the session and then let the kids play and captured their sweet personalities! So fun!

Princess Session at Squire’s Castle

I was so excited when their Mom reached out to me wanting a Princess photo session at the castle for her birthday since they could not go to Disney because of the pandemic. And big sister joined in with her soccer uniform to show both of their sweet, yet opposite personalities.

Zack’s Senior Session

As you know, I love seniors, even senior boys who are not thrilled about getting their photos taken. This guy did not want a big to do or fuss so we did them in his back yard and captured him in his element. And I love what we got!

Gracie’s Senior Session

Ok it will be hard to ever top this epic senior session, but that it was I love about photography. Every session is so unique. We got gorgeous shots of this stunning senior with vibrant fall colors in the park and that wall!!!! Wowza!

Payne Family Session at Golden Hour

As you may know, I have 3 boys, so I love meeting and photographing boy families! This session was another amazing session where everything was perfect! The 75 degree October day, gorgeous fall colors, golden glow and dapper boys with polished clothes. You can’t ask for anything more!!!

Family Session at Cleveland Cultural Gardens

I was thrilled when an old college friend reached out to me to do her family’s photos. They had done fall photos in the past and wanted something different. We came up with the Cleveland Cultural Gardens and this location did not disappoint. So many amazing places that create wonderful backdrops! It was a cold day and the family was freezing but they were amazing and fun to work with and made my job easy!
